    Hello i have an OEM version of
    NEC 1300A DVD writer drive and
    I'm looking for the latest OEM driver/firmware version
    Anyone can help me please?
    All I could find are bulk/retail firmware thank you.

    And also im having problem to read dvd-rs burned
    with another burner. Any idea?

    My drive is on secondary slave.

    NEC is backwards. If you bought the drive as a NEC from an on-line retailer then it is the RETAIL version even though it probably said OEM

    For NEC when they say OEM they mean a drive that you got in a computer system. For instance I have heard that emachines use this drive so that would be the OEM version.

    Why NEC is like this I don't know
