I realize (as a newbie) that there is no media that is necessarly "The Best"
After reading the media list to the left, it seems that Taiyo Yuden media is pretty good..... Would most of you guys here on the forum agree with that ?
Secondly I read that DVD+R is supposed to be better or easier to read in a standalone..... Any truth to that ? Is there any advantage between DVD+R vs DVD-R ?

don't ever ask that about -r and +r formats
unless you want to start a war. everyone was fighting about which was better not to long ago. really I don't think either has any real advantages. A lot of people swear +r is more compatible but a like amount will tell you -R is more compatible.
as for Taiyo Yuden, I've had excellent luck with the CD media but I've never tried the DVD media. -
So you are saying +R is better !!!! J/K
If anyone has used any Taiyo Yuden DVD (+ or -) media, please share the results you had with it. May just order a spindle........ -

You can browse the media section and read all you want to get ur question answered. That said, yes Taiyo Yuden is one of the top medias available to the pukes like us and the prices verify it too. -
after several burns, no coasters with TY media here.

Have you noticed that a slight tax increase costs you two hundred dollars and a substantial tax cut saves you thirty cents?
