  1. Trying to transfer a scanned dvd label to a labeling/cover program and putting that image on my own labels. The problem is that the round image is scanned "within " a square box and when you try to put them on a round cover "template" it uses the whole square image.
I'm wondering if you can "round crop" the image, but I have yet to find anything that has round cropping templates. Any suggestions??

I don't see why this is a problem. You peel off only the round label and leave the undesired parts of the image on the sheet. Anyway, if you can get a hold of Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4 it has a great labeling program. I scan labels, crop to the edges with Microsoft Picture It! then open the image in Adaptec's Easy CD Creator Jewel Case Maker program under CD labels. It automatically centers the image so everything is aligned for printing.

  3. The labeling programs I have used.... take the square image and cram it into a round template....with the white edges and all.

This includes the CD stomper and Acoustica labeling software.

You need a paint program that will let you cut the picture as a circle so you can paste it on a white background so the label program will fit the image right, paint shop pro will let you do this.

  6. I do that all the time with my scanner. I simply scan the discs at 1200 dpi and in the scanning program that came with my Cannon scanner I crop the image to the edge then I print directly to the discs using my Epson 900 printer. The finished discs look darn close to the original.
