  1. If I burn it out to a VCD, there u can choose between the lang. by presing audio button. (think everyone know about it).

But now I want burn 4-5 mpg files into a DVD-VCD disc. Have succed to do it, but the problem is I cant choose what language I want to hear, there are dual audio sound and its very irritating. (just want to explain why I want extract the audio).

So, how do I extarct the audio, choose the language I want and put it back on the mpg, so I just have 1 audio channel instead?

Sorry, for the "weird explanation", but hopes any can understan what I mean?

  2. Have you tried de-multiplex in TMPGEnc? (not the simple demux)

That should split the audio stream(s) from the video for you.

I think you'll then be able to choose which audio stream you want to keep, and re-mux that with the video.

    cheers,

  3. Yes, have already tried that. There are 3 files: padding_stream - video stream - audio stream.

I doudble clicked on the audio stream, but its still 2 language sound in that .mp2 file I extracted out?

  4. How does the mp2 file have two languages in it?

I would have thought it would have a maximum of two channels (L and R in a stereo file).

Have you opened it in an audio editor like GoldWave / SoundForge etc..?

    cheers,

  6. What audio editing software are you using?

Have you been able to check that it is one language on the Left channel, and a different one on the Right?

If that's the case, there are different ways to isolate one of the channels, and then double it up to make a new stereo file (with L & R identical to each other).

You should then be able to re-encode that file to mp2 (with tooLame and, optionally, a GUI such as BeSweetGUI or tooLameGUI) and re-mux it with your video file in TMPGEnc.

If you tell me which audio editor you're using, I'll try and be more specific about how to isolate the one language.

    cheers,
    mcdruid.
