  1. Hi i want to convert a divx file to svcd format
but the audio is out of sync with the video
so i try to follow the procedure to correct this problem before converting
but when i try to open the video in virtualdub i got this message

    ********
    Error initialising audio stream decompression
The request conversion is not possible
Check to make shure you have the required codec (Microsoft Audio Codec).
    ********

This is the information about the file in avicodec:
    File : 633 MB (633 MB), duration: 1:48:01, type: AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 45 %

    Video : 608 MB, 788 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 512*384 (4:3), DIV3 = DivX v3 MPEG-4 (Low-Motion), Supported

    Audio : 24 MB, 32 Kbps, 22050 Hz, 2 channels, 0x161 = Windows Media Audio V2, Supported

What do you suggest to do to be able to correct the problem
i'm pretty shure the codec are installed properly since i can watch the video and listen to the audio using windows media player.

    Thank you for your help
