How to convert DIVX video to DVD or SVCD

Hello,

I have a DIVX video which I can play in DIVX player on my PC but I would like to convert this video into DVD or SVCD.

If this is possible could you please tell me which applications I would need to use and ideally steps to follow to do this.

I reported it
So it says use TMPGENC
but that was all I could see!

Y'no I just tried to bring a Divx file into TMPG and it works,




But what if you have XVID codec?..seems unless you need to change something in TMPGEnc first it'll only do DivX,
cause when I tried XVid encoded .avi of 699MB I receive the message UNSUPPORTED FILE FORMAT..
if I want to convert XVID to DVD
..I dunno how?
