  1. Ok . .. . hope this all makes some sense.

I want to make a DVD SlideShow with background music. I know this easy but i have come across 1 small problem.
    Let we try explain :P
I have 2 titles both with 99 pictures in each
I have 1 audio file per title (2 in total)
The 2 audio files are 2 songs watch a beat mixed.
So .. the problem i have is that there seems to always be a pause between titles. This doesn't make for good listening when playing beat mix music.
Anyway i can remove this pause ?????

I have used both SonicMyDVD and Nero Express

    Cheers

    I don't use SonicMydvd.

It looks to me like you have 2 solutions. Make one tittle with 198 images and 2 songs w/cross fade audio. Or you can edit the audio tracks in an audio editor and have them fade out at the end.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

use an audio editing program to join the 2 songs together , then you'll have one title 198 pictures and one audio file.

  5. Thanks for the replys
    but. . . . .
i'm limited to 99 picture per title. Unless you know a program that can do DVD SlideShows with more than 99 pictures then this will not work.
This is whole reason behind me making it 2 titles

Create two DVDs one for each 99 slide show (write to file or RW disk).

Take the VOB file from each DVD and merge them with the free program File Merge.

Then rename the merged VOB to MPG and load it into MyDVD as a movie to create your single slideshow. If renaming does not work you will have to convert the VOB to MPG.

  7. The reason that MyDVD is limited to 99 slides per slideshow track is because it inserts chapter breaks at each slide. Very nice as it lets you easily skip around the slides. However this does mean that the limit is 99 slides per track with MyDVD (these suggestions to merge the files won't work, I don't think. Or if it did, you would lose your chapter breaks.)

If you don't care about chapter breaks you could use MemoriesOnTV to render your slideshow tracks. This creates a single mpeg file which you can import into your DVD authoring software. It can have any number of slides and supports background music. The drawback is that there are no chapter breaks.

  8. for a wee bit more proshow gold is SWEEEET.
I used sonic mydvd but for some reason when i tried to author it with TDA no matter what it would lose the timing information for the chapters and blow through the pictures while the music played normally. I actually prefer this method where it creates a standard mpeg2 file. You just import the pictures and your music..i used mp3's...

  9. Vegas Video will let you do what you are wanting to do. I spent the money on the program and my only disapointment was that it did not burn DVD's. I made a slide show with over 200 photos and used parts of 12 music tracks that I extracted from CD's using Vegas Video.
