I have been saving photographs on a cdr and after closing the disc I cannot open it again to view the photos. I have tried numerous disc recovery programmes but none of them can get at my photos. It was working fine and doesn't look damaged or scratched, anyone have any ideas how I can recover the files.

  2. You should be able to read every session upto the one that killed it via your burning application if it's multisession, or at least read that session back to put it onto another disc.

    If not, try ISObuster.

Thanks you so much for the info, I tried ISO buster AND IT WORKED! The only programme that has. I have tried a multitude of disk recovery programmes for the last year and was reluctant to bin the disk as the photos on it were too important and ISO Buster was one programme I hadn't tried so I thought what the hell I'll give it a try and I was more than delighted when it worked. I can't thank you enough for pointing me in the right direction.
