CCE with DVD2SVCD gives the best quality. After that, I'd say InstantCopy.

I use anydvd with clonedvd and it works perfect everytime.Clonedvd has a much better size calculation than instant copy. With instant copy i've had movies compressed less than 20% come in under 4 gig's with instant copy, and clone dvd gives me 4.4 gig's.A much better use of available space.
I haven't tried the dvd2svcd and cce process. No need to. Much too time consuming, and clonedvd does a great job.Splitting to 2 dvd's would be a great addition.

I've found CloneDVD much easier to use than DVDshrink if you want to remove intro titles but keep the menus, especially if the DVDs have several episodes rather than a movie on them.

Whilst quality is subjective, I have no complaints about the episode DVDs I've used CloneDVD on. For straight movies with no menus, I still use DVD2ONE - it's just so easy to use.
