  2. How are you ripping the movies?
How are you burning the movies?
    Does your standalone support DVD-R/+R?
What kind of media are you burning too?
    Welcome to the REAL world!

  4. try using high quality -R instead of +R as most standalone dvd players are compatible with the first type of media.

    post your result. thanks.

First of all, before you burn your disc.. Open your video with somethong like power dvd or windvd and make sure it plays. IF it dont play, then you authored it wrong.
If it plays then next step is to burn it on a dvd rw and then play that on ur PC again using power dvd or win dvd. if it does, u can then try in ur dvd player if it supports dvd rw, if it doesnt then u need to burn a -R or a +R depending on what ur player will support.

Author. Play from folder with software DVD player to check.
Make ISO image with imgtools classic. Mount image with Daemon tools and play from image drive with software DVD player to check.
Burn image (with DVDDecrypter or anything that can burn ISOs). Play on standalone.
Still doesn't work? Then it's most likely a media problem!
