I have an avi in English but it also contains someone giving a commentary throughout (which is what I want to remove). Is there any program that would easily remove the commentary and leave just the English?
I tried aviwav33 but it only decompressed the commentary. Can anyone give any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Try Virual Dub mod, select a track, save it as a wave, select the remaining track, save it as a wave.

I'm not sure exactly how the avi/divx file holds their audio, but i'm guessing all of the audio is on 1 track. If this is the case you won't be able to remove the commentary without also removing anything in that frequency range on the entire audio track..
If the files DO have the capability of having seperate audio tracks then ignore the above post :P -
Is the commentary intermingled with the audio or is it coming from just one channel (either Left or Right)?
