    Does anyone know if after recording to this box, I can reauthor through my computer with no problems?
    I have tried a couple of DVD standalone recorders and have had some trouble when trying to reauthor.

    I would say.... Not too many have this writer/recorder.
    Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)

    They are a few Software,that comes with the writer,that allows u to edit
    then burn....

    it allows u to transfer & edit,before burning

    Thanks guys, I'm thinking that it's now down to $299.00. Maybe i'll just buy it and find out. I can always return it. Heck i've already returned 2 others.

    Nevermind, this isn't what i'm looking for. This is just like a video tranferer to the computer with an encoder. I can already do that and have more control with encoding.
