I am using Recorder to capture from IEEE 1394 firewire using the MSDV.SYS Microsoft DV Camera VCR driver. I have my vcr connected to the Canopus ADVC-100 analog to digital converter and out to PC via Firewire. Unfortunately, Recorder does not recognize the input as a valid drive. I thought maybe my hook up was incorrect, but I am able to capture with Cyberlink PowerVCR II. I prefer Recorder to PowerVCR and am unable to get the program to recognize DV Camera input via firewire. HELP!!
