hi all, ive copied a dvd and it plays fine on my standalone, but when i try it in my mother-in-laws standalone the pictures their but there isnt n e sound, n e 1n e idea as to how (if poss) i can resolve this?

most likely the sound setting in the dvd player not matching what is on the dvd.
