    I wish to export DV AVI in Premiere to WMV so others can download.
    Can anyone suggest settings please.

    yes -- don't ...

    premeiere 6.5 does an awefull job of it --

    use squeeze or procoder instead (procoder will plug in to premiere)

    Microsoft has a downloadable WMV conversion utility also

    try some settings like below or HIGHER for quality

    also Use WMV codec 8 instead of 9 if your viewers might have 98 as well as the newer OS's (2000, XP)
