  2. The Canopus AceDVio card works beautifully under Windows 2000. I installed one myself and found that it didn't even require special drivers. Just plug it in and you're good to go. Superb card too.[/i]

  4. > 1. is captured analog file same as original by quality?

I've only done VHS captures using an S-VHS player with a S-Video link to the card. Keeping in mind that this is a subjective rating, I'd say the quality loss is around 5%. It's really REALLY good.

    >in what field order this capture card fork-lower or upper

Good question, and one that I cannot answer. I'm new to DVD authoring and the significance of this is just occurring to me. I plan on calling Canopus and asking.

    >compine analog captured file and FW captured file in same project.

I've looked through the manual and Canopus software and don't see an answer to the first part of your question. I haven't done ANY FW capturing with this unit yet so I cannot speak from experience.

The second part of your question seems to ask if you can combine two different types of captured media somehow - you'd have to clarify this before I could attempt to lend any help in this direction.

  5. Hi TMQ its me again,

if you dont mind I will ask you something more:

How did you conect TV to ACEDVio, I suppose via S-VHS or composite video out,

now if you capture using its FW conector, when click to playback that captured video, will ACEDVio use its S-VHS or composite conector to output-show you the capture file to TV.

    Thanks

Hook your VHS deck through the S-Video In/Out
and hook up your TV to the VHS deck. That way,
you won't need to change the hook-up.

Depends on how you have your components hooked up.

Take a look at the flow diagram here (requires Flash):
