ok i got 8 episodes
i want to put them on a dvd with menu
but got no idea at all which program is best to use for it
i dont want to spend alot of time on making a menu since this is bassicly a waste of time unless you want to spend hours on it
i tried TMPGEnc DvD Author but
it kinda misses something
either the premade menu's dont support more then 6 parts
and when you create one youself you still have to make buttons in photoshop
IF you would want 2 buttons lets say
1 Play All
2 Episode Select
when you make one youself you always end up with 1 button the rest you gotta make so it seems
any help would be nice
Thanks

TMPGEnc DVD Author will do what you want without problem. When you open TDA up you add first file, then to Left of screen you should see the track you added and the words "add new track" you click on "add new track" then add file and repeat untill you have added all your tracks. Then Click Create menu button and it will say that it can't edit this theme and will ask you if you want to create and edit a new one, click yes and a new window pops up and each pane has a arrow next to it that when you click on it there are various premade options and there is options for 10 selections, choose that since you have 8 tracks it will have 8, you can choose with preview of track or without, hope this helps

ok gonna have a try with that
i had several tries before
but i added all 8 episodes under 1 track
which was probably the cause for always having the same episode even when i moved forward
so if i am not mistaking with the way you explained
i got a dvd which immediatly boots to the menu with 8 chapters to select from ?
no main menu then to chapter menu
Thanks -

Just a tinge vague there.
But anyways ... as other person said ... TDA will fit the bill.
I just now ... finished two avi videos converted to DVD compliant mpeg with AC-3 audio and ran them through TDA ... 7.52 Gigs ... I tried Nero Recode but too too big
... and so I'm now using DVD Shrink 3.1.4 Final ... it is not complaining ... at least not at the moment. And then I will burn it to a DVD-R.
I've got about about 12 or 13 chapters spread out over 4 pages of menus. It's an Adult movie ... Rocco Initiations 6.
Each page shows a scene [with audio] from the chapters to choose from.
I used Intervideo WinDVD Creator 2 to convert the avi videos to DVD compliant Mpg-2 videos with AC-3 audio. -
what i mean is
once i insert the dvd i immediatly get to see the menu with all the chapters/episodes
or one which boots to a main menu in which you select go to chapter/episode menu and just a play all button -
dont know for sure but there is always something wrong in the dvd's i make with TDA
each time i made a dvd
i had somerthing like this
boot dvd
i had a medium sized picture in the middle with a screenshot in it from the selected episode
which plays fine second episde is correct also
but when i got to the third and fourth and so on
i keep having the same episode as the second
even though i made sure i had a different file in each chapter
