  1. I need an expert's advice on how to correct/eliminate video flicker on my PC whenever I view DVD or any type of slideshow created from still photos. I have an nVidia 8 MB Vanta LT graphics card. Resolution is 1024 x 768 @ 32bit color. The "flicker" is in the form of random bits of color appearing all over the video. I've downloaded updated drivers with no luck.

I can rip & burn DVD's perfectly, but cannot play them. Any experts have an idea or two???

Perhaps you need a video card with more than 8 MB of video memory. That could be causing the flickering.

  4. I replaced my 8MB card with a 64MB nVidia GeForce - still have the problem.

What can cause pixelated video if not the video card? Hardware? Software? BIOS? Help!
