Hello. I am in the process of building a computer to be used for multimedia designing, capturing video and editing video for dvds. I planned on purchasing the Radeon All-in-Wonder 9800 Pro for my system. My question though is in regards to how good it works for capturing. Can I count on it for quality captures or should I plan on getting a lesser graphics card (but still top of the line) and also a stand alone capture card like the canopus advc-100. My preference would be to use the all in wonder but only if it will give me the results I am hoping for.
Incase any of this is needed to answer, I am purchasing a P4 3.0Ghz with 1 Gig of ram. I have not decided on the mother board yet.
Thanks

Many here do very well with an ATI AIW card. It should handle what you want to do. You should visit www.lordsmurf.com for a great site on video capturing, editing, etc. He specializes in ATI cards, and recommends them often.
