    Doesn't TMPGENC DVD author accept avi files for conversion to DVD vobs?? Or am I missing something ??? Is it possible to get TMPGENC DVD author to accept avi files. At the moment it only seems to accept mpg, m2v files. When most movies files are in avi format...

    Tmpgenc dvd author is ONLY an author tool. You must convert to dvd mpeg with another tool like tmpgenc.

    If you want in all in one tool(convert,author and burn) try ulead dvd moviefactory,neodvd,nerovision express but you may not get as good results as converting with a standalone encoder like tmpgenc.


    And convert avi to dvd isn't dvd to dvdr so I'm moving your topic.
