Hi.
I recently got a Philips DVDR70 and am using it with my combo TV/Video.
Is it possible for me to record off the video (in built with the TV, not connected) onto DVD? If so, how can I "tune" an in-built video channel in? I'm sure it should be possible but I don't know how to make it work.
Regards
Andy

you may be able to, i have recorded vhs to my dvdr70 loads of times, but my vhs player is standalone. if the vhs combi unit you have has an output connection of any type then it should be possible, otherwise i would have thought the answer would be no since the scart sockets in the back of these tv hvs combi units is for inputs only.

It's a matter of recording from the channel "Ext 1", which can be found by going up a channel from the pre-tuned in channels (after "Ext 2" I think)
Hope this helps,
Andy
