Hi
I read through some other topics about overcoming this using a video stabiziler however I think my setup is slightly different.
With some channels on certain programmes a minute or two during the programme there is a copy protected signal sent. If I am recording a programme with this when I go to stop the recording it won't allow me to save the recording to my HDD saying part of the selection is copy protected. I can see the parts as the colour along my time shift bar is different.
My TV signal comes through a coaxial cable pipe (wired cable in other words) rather than a box.
I have had a look at the options available - Grex etc. and I can't see how I would be able to connect through it to eliminate the copy protected signal.
I probably need a system with an input and output for the coax cable but I'm not sure if this exists or if there is an alternative.
That or if someone has figured out how to disable this in the Philips DVDR3450, that would be better!! and you'd be a legend![]()
Thanks in advance.
