    Hi
I have a number of films that I have burned on DVD RW, as I didn't want to continually make coasters.....they play perfectly well, and now I want to put them onto DVD +R.

I thought I could just open up the 'Video_TS' file on the disc and copy to hard drive, then burn this onto the permanent DVD +R. It seems I can't...I get a windows error: 'VTS_01_3 Invalid MS-DOS function'.

Any ideas, or can it just not be done this way ?

Sorry if it's covered somewhere - but I've not found it yet !

    Thanks.

  2. This error looks like a bad disc, try cleaning it.

If you use nero you can do a disc to disc copy on the fly. With a blank in your dvd-writer and the dvd in your rom (if you have one).

Thanks - I think you may be right, I'm trying DVD Decrypter as we speak, and that don't like it either !!

I don't have another DVD drive that's why I've gotta do it this way.
