  1. I have just watched my DVD-RW get it's last breath and I can't get it back
    I own a Hi-VAL DVD-RW DUAL 4X or otherwise know as i/O Magic DD0203

I was trying to update my firmware and it gave me an error and a message "Try again Later" after which the drive disapeared from system, without me realizing that i just f--ed up I started the process again and it switcged to my cd-rw drive and partialy reflashed my firmware, before i hit cancel button. Now I don't have any optical driveson my pc, is there a way to ever get them back???? What are the steps or is there something online that will guide me through this???

Please help if you know how.
