if like me you add bits to your PC then out of the main components, what's the oldest/newest part in your PC?

I think mine is my Liteon LTD-163 DVDROM drive from a few years back which has served me well 8)

the newest is a Maxtor 160GB Hard drive from September 2004

No way. First I gotta make a phone call and I want to run a bench mark first so I can compaire the change.

THEN The G5s case comes off.

After that I'll play a few hours of World of Warcraft checking for actual real world performance boost.

Newest: 2x 3.2 E-0 Nocona Xeons which were in my computer for only a week before I got sick of them and put in the old 3.06 Prestonias. That was about a month ago. They'll go back in if an OS suddenly comes out that utilizes EMT64, or perhaps I'll just build another machine for them

Oldest: Probably my 5-year old GeForce4 4400 that's still in my 4-year old Tyan 2460 and both going strong. Though if it's the oldest part of my newest workstation it would be the trusty old 200GB WD IDE drive from about 3 years ago. All I know is I bought it OEM from Dell for something like $300 then and it has been in my primary machine as a temporary storage drive ever since.

    Hello,

The case and mobo and cpu are from last november when I bought it at the day after thanksgiving sale at bestbuy

The WINTV PVR 250 is the OLDEST on my system - about 3 years old I think.

The ATI RADEON 9250 is the newest. Bought just a couple of weeks ago

You never know, I've had to replace two Pythons (not my own) in the past month and I believe they were both less than 2 years old.

    (One was a DDS2 and the other a DDS4)
