I've used Screenblast MovieStudio 3.0 software to create a home-movie based on still pictures. I've tried creating both an MPEG-2 file and AVI file as output, and both look fine on my computer through any playback program.
However, when I burn it to DVD and play on my Toshiba SD-2200 DVD player with a 36" Toshiba TV, the picture is cropped and cut-off slightly on all sides-top,bottom, left, and right. I burn it to the DVD using Sonic's MyDVD 4.5, which comes with the Screenblast product.
Any ideas what's going wrong?

its normal .. consumer TV's are underscanned by apx. 6-10% .. so what is known as a safe area is used for broadcast and film to video editing .. there is also a "Title Safe Area" which is even smaller ..
