    Should i go for v.7 or v.8? Have v.8 many better features?

    I like IC8 better than v7 because the quality is much better, granted that I can backup a whole dvd. Lately, been unable to backup certain dvds with everything except for the dvdrom features. V7 seems to be much faster in reading the video data and burning..usually taking about 30 minutes to read the data and 30 minutes to burn. V8 seems to take 30 to 45 minutes more, but the quality is close to a goldmaster original. V8 allows you to choose what kind of quality from default to high.

    I've been using 3 other dvd programs in addition to IC8 where it fails.

    I personally think IC8 is a downgrade from IC7.

    A friend of mine has it and I won't upgrade. It is slower and I don't see any difference in quality.
