I only get a ripping speed of 2.1K I have done all the necessary changes to my computer as per "DVD Ripping Speed Tips" But I still get no higher than that speed.
I have P 733MHZ
Pioneer A06 (with latest drivers)
Seagate 80GB 2MB HD (installed; OS, Office 2003, Anti-Virus/Firewall...and that's it)
WinXP Pro
I have tried ripping with DVDShrink and its the same story...slow rip speeds. Any suggestions for this nOOb. Thanks![]()

Your Pioneer will rip at 2.1. I use a DVD ROM drive to do the ripping.
They are very cheap, and save wear and tear on the DVD burner."Whenever I need to "get away,'' I just get away in my mind. I go to my imaginary spot, where the beach is perfect and the water is perfect and the weather is perfect. The only bad thing there are the flies. They're terrible!" Jack Handey
