  1. This is all new to me so pls bear with me.

    Questions:-

    1) TV out can be via SVideo or Phono/RCA yellow Socet is this correct?
I realise SVideo is better quality but if poss would like to experiment with RCA first, as I'll need to buy a long SVideo lead which will be expensive me thinks.

    2) I use Zoom Player, good for this application?

    3) Card is 9200SE, not the best I know, set as optimal refresh rate my TV is Panasonic 100hz Widescreen any problems here? Ithink my monotor supprts max 75hz @ 1024 x 768.

    4) A link to useful info would be appreciated.

    OS Still running 98SE.

    Thanks

  2. Either output at 50Hz or 100Hz and reduce your resolution to 800x600 (the TV out sometimes does this automatically). Zoom Player is as good as anything else out there. I have never gotten an ATI card to produce a full TV picture. There are always borders top and bottom of the screen (and I've tried different cards) I think the problem is that they are geared towards NTSC and don't scale PAL well (both on input and output). The best way to get a TV out is to use a dual head video card. This will allow the actual picture from Zoom Player to output to your TV rather than just your PC desktop.
