I have an avi that is too big to fit on a cd by about 15 meg. I use Vdub to cut off the end credits. The resulting files audio is out of sync for the first bit of the file and gone in the last part.
I mark the beginning and end and then "save avi as".
I searched for this but didn't come up w/ ne thing.
ne ideas.

CompressAVI only deals with video...no audio. Did I miss something.

use Nandub (go to http://www.nandub.org)
it's same as virtual dub, but it supports a certain audio codec (ac3.....correct me if i'm wrong) that virtual dub doesn't support.
