    I just found a way to change the start up screen of my laptop from Windows Me to anything I want.

    Now i would like a symbol of the Rebel Allience to appear but I can't find one.

    Why not just disable the start-up and shut-down screens, they are nothing but "bloat": use Tweak UI.

    can you disable win2k's startup screen? would it load a little faster?

    yeah there a way to change to win2k start-up and no it doesn't change the speed

    What? So calling an image file and printing it to the screen nowadays carries no system overhead? Strange...

    Negligable difference maybe.
