All I want is to re-do the menus...

So I have a set of four DVDs of TV shows done by a friend, and while the content is fine (as far as I'm concerned), I want to re-do the menus so that I can choose the episode I want to watch (right now it's this crappy-looking one-option menu that just plays the entire 20 episodes!). I've just gotten my first DVD burner (awww) so I don't know anything about putting things onto DVD, only taking them off! Is there some really nice and easy way to do this? Or will it be more complicated? Right now it's about 20 episodes on each disc in one big title.
