I have 3 scenarios that happen when I try to use DVD shrink...

    A) I can go about 10 seconds BACKING it up in my temp file folder and i get a Copy Protection Error, and could not be performed because of an I/O Device Error and then it stops completly

    B) I can go to about 10-15% BACKING it up in my temp file folderand then I just get the single error, I/O Device Error and then it shuts down completly

    C) I can go all the way to the end of backing it up to my file folder.... and get to the BURNING part of it... and it completes the Burning part of it with no errors..... Then it will not read on ANY of my DVD players.... What should I do?

No idea for A) and B) but for C) I'd say: Make image with imgtools classic, then burn with DVDDecrypter.

  3. A & B - start playing the the movie in a software DVD player, then open DVDShrink and rip/encode.

C - not really sure without knowing what you are using to burn with and media quality.

I may not be understanding correctly. But have you tried ripping to the hard drive first with DVD Decrypter then using DVDShrink on it?

Just remember that if u use DVD Decrypter to rip with, do it in FILE mode and make sure you have ALL FILES checked in the settings.
