  1. Hi all

I have a quick one today..

Does anyone know if version 5.0 of Sonic My dvd work with the Adaptec AVC-2310 which comes in a package called VideoOh! DVD Media Center USB 2.0 Edition?

I have version 4.5 of Sonic My dvd which came with the device... I would of thought version 5.0 should work with it should it not?

    Thank you

    ps

From my other posts I have managed to make dvd`s now from tv and vcr with a great picture but does anyone know of any good editting software to edit video (mpeg etc) at a good price?

Agree with previous poster ...I've seen posts from other people who've tried to do this and they report that when you install 5.0, it no longer talks to the adaptec card. They even reported that they contacted adaptec or sonic about it and were told that it simply is not supported. These bundled software applications are rather outrageous sometimes. I had "showbiz" installed from a Videoh card, then bought an IOgear firewire card and it also came with showbiz. When I uninstalled the old showbiz and installed the one for the new card, it talked to the new card but had many important editing features disabled...

Regarding editing software ...didn't "showbiz" come with the card? Is it good enough? I've been using the one that came with my Videoh card
