How do you create screen selections on DVD????

Could someone please help me figure out how to create screen selections on my DVD's like you see when you rent a move. I use Adobe Premiere 6.5 for my editing and creating my MPEG, and I use Sonic DVDit to create my DVD's. I tried creating chapters in adobe, but when I burned the DVD I didn't see anyway to create the screen selections. I thought maybe when I played the DVD on my set top dvd player I could skip from chapter to chapter but I couldn't do that either. It is almost like creating the chapters in Premiere did nothing at all. I only used the 01 second duration when creating the chapters in Premiere, is that the problem? Thanks in advance for any ideas you can give me!

You should create chapters and scene selections when you author with sonic dvdit.
