    Hallo,

i'm an owner of a Mustek V56L-2. My problem is, that the player plays SVCDs only if the are burned with 4x speed, otherwise u see these error cubes in the video. with self burned DVDs it's similar. It's not a fault of the burner, cuz all CDs/DVDs work fine at my computer. so i decide to buy a new Home-DVD Player, but i have no idea which one i should buy. The player should handle cd-r, cd-rw, dvd-r, dvd-rw, dvd+r, dvd+rw then the formats SVCD and VCD. Divx Support is not necessary cuz i burn all my movies as video-dvds. So the main point is selfburned video-dvds should be player perfectly, a very good error correction is necessary. hope someone out here can help me with my decision, thx so far.

One more thing: i live in PAL country, so NTSC is not necessay for me.

Well mate, I have had great experiences with Pioneer.
For example i purchased a DV360 for my bro as a xmas present, now check the list of stuff it plays.
    DVD-R/RW
    DVD+R/RW
    MP3/WMA on CD and DVD
    SVCD and VCD
Best thing? The price. Multi region, delivered £70. Bargain.
"Pull your tongue out of my ar$e hole Gary...dogs do that. Your not a dog are you Gary?"
    "Err no...."
"But you do have all the characteristics of a dog Gary...all except loyalty."

Thx for replay, but i think i found a solution. I have heard that a mustek v300 has a real computer dvd with IDE and powersupply plug build in. So i have the possibility to get a used one for smale price, so i only would have to buy a good computer dvd-rom. Has anyone made such a modification here in the forum and can give me advice?
