Whenever I convert the ac3 file from 25fps to 23.976 fps with besweet, the resulting file is one that is in sync but, contains a lot of pops and crackles on it, what am I doing wrong?

am I missing something simple or does no one have an answer? 'cause I have been trying to sort this out for about 10 days. It is not my sound card by the way.

Are you using the newest version? Please elaborate on all the settings configured.
Some people like to use soundforge to change the length. Some people like goldwave. Give both a try. I haven't tried Adobe Audition but I think it might work as well. -
I'm just using BEsweet GUI and not using any other abnormal settings other than the frame rate conversion.I know you said maybe use soundforge. But I've tried using this and goldwave's timestretch tool and that just made a file that gradually went out of sync.

I haven't tried goldwave, but I like soundforge for the timestretch/shrink. I haven't tried adobe audition yet, but it looks very promising.
