  1. Hi,

    I'm trying to backup a 3-gig mpeg2 (as a data file to DVD), and Nero wont take it because it is over 2-gigs. What am I doing wrong?

    I think 2 GB is a limitation of the ISO9660 file system, that's used for data CD/DVD.

    CORRECT

    Optical drives don't use NTFS use UDF or split the file.

  5. I have the same problem under nerovision 2 while capturing from tv,the capture is divided into multiple mpeg file if it goes over 1.9 gb,my system is FAT32

    FAT32 can handle files up tp 4 GB. I guess NeroVision suspects that you eventually will write the mpgs to a DVD, so it splits them for your convenience.

    If you know the device that's going to read the disc can read UDF, then yes.
