Burn dvd not playing

Hi, I'm new and I am having problem playing my burn dvds on my dvd player. My method of burning is to use dvd shrink 3.1.4 to compress the dvd and then use nero 6 to burn the dvd. I'm trying to get it to play on my Cyberhome Ch-dvd 402. The weirdest thing is that it plays on my PS2 which is the hardest to get burn dvd to play on. So can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong. If there is anything you have to preset on dvd shrink or nero can you guys tell me. Thanx

and a few ppl have experienced probs with -r/rw disks have you tried +r/rw's ?

Yes I have tried different disc, but what I notice that when I burn it with the method i list above it work on a dvd +-rw, but not on a dvd+-r. It either said insert disc or freezes.

It is either your player or your media, try using a different brand

I did try using different media, it didnt work either. I had it working before by using dvd shrink to compress and using imgtool to burn the recording image and dvddecrypter to burn the dvd. I must of did some setup before. The problem occur when I installed nero express, ever since I install that it never work again. So I deleted it and reinstall my nero burning rom to do the same procoess but it did work. Any other ideas?
