I've recently purchased Pioneer A06D and it had, among others, Pinnacle Studio 8 SE bundled with it, which I find it great to author DVD's. However to my surprise, it cannot accept ready-made movies, it can just import them from external sources, such as camcorders, VCR's etc.
Is that really the case, or is there an option to import movies stored to my PC? If it cannot import movies, is there a trick to make it import them?

    Thank you

  2. Can you tell me more about "ready-made movies". What are they ? What kind of files ? Which codec is used to create them ?

You need a capture card, a bridge, video card or a way to get the video from the camcorder/VCR...video scource into the computer.

AND you have to "capture" the video, you can't "import" it.
