  1. I've got a DV camera and every time I try to edit my DV clips the application crashes (I've tried different programs and all crash out very quickly). The only way I can get it stable is to use VirtualDub to first convert the DV clips to RAW AVI files, but unfortunately the size of the files get HUUUUGE so I don't really want to work that way.

    Any ideas of where to start looking? I haven't found any good DV codec's either, would have thought my firewire card or DV cam would have included that.
