I am getting a warning when try to compile my dvd that says something like warning you are mixing brocast d1 and full stream d1 video streams--some dvd players may not be able to play both sizes. I have mixed 704x480 and 720x480 video because the panasonic e50 records in 704 resolution. Can I convert the 704x480 video into 720x480 or should I just not worry about dvd-lab's warning?
ALSO
How do delete an image on a menu once you put it in!? I cant find any delete button or anything. Or do I just slide it off the menu into the gray area?
Thanks[/b]

I have seen this warning and ignored it with no problems on several DVD players. You don't want to re-encode if you don't have to.
No Guarantees obviously. -

1) Upgrade to version 1.4 beta 1 and use the VMG template. That allows for multiple resolutions on one DVD, a standard VTS does not.
2) To get rid of a background you fo not want, either drag one you do want on top of it or right click on the menu and select "remove background". -

Okay there is one more question I MUST get answered!
I compiled my dvd and everything worked fine when playing back but there were two videos without sound.
Both of these I demuxed in dvd-lab and the audio was saved as ac3 and video mv2. I played both of the ac3 audio files individually in my software dvd player and both worked. I just can't get them to play with two of my videos however. They are in the audio row but they just don't play on playback. Any suggestions
Thanks for the help so far, it is much appreciated! -
I don't know which version of DVD-Lab you are using, but I found (using version 1.1) that if I let DVD-Lab demux the A/V, them mux it back together for the DVD, it created problems durning playback. If I demuxed it with TMPGEnc, or another program, then imported the audio/video separately, it worked fine. Don't ask me why.

IS every audio file in your DVD AC3? If not that could be causing the problem. IF a video before the ones with AC3 is something else and they are not in the correct title set, the DVD player may think they are MP2 or PCM and not play them correctly.

Thanks I solved it.
What would happen if a dvd player could not handle my 704x480 and 720x480 video sizes? Would it just not go to the video and the menu would start shaking because this is exactly what happened on my nvdvd computer player but not my standalone players. However it played fine with the 720x480 video just not the 704x480 video.
Also, I am loving dvd-lab and really want to buy it but want to buy the 1.4 version.
Will this version allow me to import my compiled and burned dvd from version 1.3 to version 1.4 so i can edit it if I wanted to again? Or is this not what multiple vts means.
Does anyone know when 1.4 is coming out?
Thanks to all your help
