Panasonic RP56

I have a panasonic RP56 DVD Player.

I recently burnt a dvd (my first) vdv+rw using dvd xcopy xpress.

The dvd produced plays well on my computer and on my elcheapo Winstar 1200, but refuses to play on the panasonic.

I checked the dvd players capabilities on the DVD player link on this site and it claimes to support dvd+rw.

Has any one here managed to get the panasonic to play this type of media?

If so what software did you use? What media did you use... manufacturer etc....

I have the Panny RP56 and am able to play ANY kind of disc with no problems. I have used Verbatim DVD+,Memorex DVD- and DVD+, Fuji DVD-,DVD+, and DVD+RW with no problems as well.

I am using Nero 6.3.0.0 and DVD Shrink with a Pioneer A06

I've got a Verbatim DVD-RW here in front of me and it just won't play in the Panasonic. But it plays elsewere.

I to have used nero and dvdshrink... (or nero and dvd2one) or tmpgenc with it's burner and no luck..

The only luck I've had is with DVD-R 4x disks...

Is there a possibility its my Lite-on LDW 411S?

I think it is your Liteon 411s. Becuase i have a Liteon 411s and 811s and i have been having problems playing anything i burn on the Liteons. I have burned all kinds of media with the Pioneer A06 and NEVER had a problem.
