I have a question regarding the burning of a VCD. Suppose you download a VCD that is in the .bin format, does it make a difference if you burn the .bin file directly or if you extract the .bin file (using something like ISObuster) and then simply do a regular burn using the files and folders that were extracted?
The reason why i am asking is when i download a game that is .bin, I HAVE to burn the .bin file and NOT extract it first. The reason is cuz when I burn the .bin file straight, it makes it so the cd is readable. Not sure exactly how to explain but all i know is that when I extract the files first and then burn, the burn and the installation of the game go successfully, but when I go to play the game, it can't read the cd.
I just wanted to know if the same principles apply for movies.
Thanx

same sort of deal here...
you need the directory structure intact... or the vcd will not play in the DVD player... if you want to extract the movie out of the BIN use the VCDgear utility and you can extract the .DAT file out of the bin then convert it to MPG then you can reburn it in NERO if you want...
