  1. I dont know if this would be the place to ask so please feel free to move mods, but when Im "ripping" The Hulk DVD I have come across the "Menu" screen for Animal House. I can not find it on my DVD in my DVD player.

    The VOB file is:
    VIDEO_TS.VOB

I am just curious as to why that would be there......

Can you explain a little more, what you are asking is a bit unclear.

  3. Sure,

While "browsing" my Hulk DVD I came across the VOB file mentioned above. It is not "accessible" via my DVD player (hooked to my TV) nor can I find any mention of it anywhere on the Internet.
(The inclusion of the Animal House Main DVD Menu Screen)

I was wondering why something like that would be there. Do they (DVD/Movie companies) sometimes put stuff on disk and not use them?

Could it be some type of "protection"/counterfiet detection?

Just curious more then anything. As it appear not to have an effect on my backup.

I was thinking that also but all of the EasterEgg sites I checked did not list it. When I rip it I get no audio. So it appears "useless". Like I said its more a curiosity issue more then anything.....
