Its strange, i run Windvd 5.3 DXVA B05.020 (latest from the website i believe) and if "enable hardware color acceleration" is turned on, the screen has a rather bright haze or "fog" over it, can someone explain why this might be and if theres a fix for it? I know intervideo didnt add in this specific button just to annoy people and make screens bright.
EDIT: Ok, well i did a little testing, and for some dvds it makes brighter then others. I cant say I like this latest windvd very much, Ill probably just run the regular 5 version. I dont like the autoplay very much, and the color doesnt seem to want to be Normal at all. PowerDVD on the other hand, does a very good clean job, no autoplay and plays it in normal color by default.
