  1. What about HP DVD Movie Writer dc3000 ?
Is that an option for converting old VHS-tapes to DVD
Is the DVD editable, can I read the file into Pinnacle Studio or similar
Please let me know if you have info on this burner

  2. The HP Movie Writer is a device that can connect to a Video or Camcorder and record on DVD+R or +RW See here

I think you would be better off with either a multi-format DVD-Recorder from Sony or Toshiba or one of the RAM/DVD-R models from Panasonic. All have far more functionality than this rather sad effort from HP.[/url]

Oops, I forgot to answer your question. Yes, providing your computer can read DVD+R or +RW discs.
