dvd to dvd r process

hey guys so i normally used dvd x copy xpress but i was backing up my copy of pirates of the carribean so i used dvd decrypter and than dvd shrink and than it burned.

i find though it didnt burn too good...
i was wondering maybe is there a shorter way of doing this like could i just use dvd shrink?

also what are some other "one click programs" like xpress that will rip it compress it and burn it in a matter of a few clicks?

it seems slow and when it plays and i skip from chapter to chapter its slow and black...
