I asked a question for a couple of days ago in this forum (thansk for the help)
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=198955&highlight=
I have found out that is was my dvd player that cant play the movie. This i think is strange becouse it can play other dvd-r and movies that i have burned from dvd to dvd. But not when i download and burn it my self. I once dowloaded and dvd as an iso file and then it worked fine.
Is there a way to make the movie work on my dvd?

what is the filesize of the dvdr that will not play on your dvd settop? certain settops will not play dvdr's that are less than 4.0Gs.
example: recently backed up a disc...final size after taking everything i did not want out was 3.6Gs. dvdr will play in PC but not settop (BTW i have an Apex which usually plays everything and anything). redid the disc...this time included extra audio so filesize was about 4.1Gs. Plays fine on settop
TOOLS: Decrypter and Shrink.
will your dvdr play on another settop? what settop do you have? -
What type of player is it? I ask cause I have problems with my Toshiba playing the so called DVD-Video or ISO/UDF formats. The only format that will work on my Toshiba is UDF format. Don't ask me why or how, I just know that it works that way so I use it.

Have you tried to use the UDF format instead of ISO/UDF or the DVD video format?
