Ghooooosting on Playback

I need assistance with stopping the ghosting on playback of my dvd project..... From the top!

1 - I capture my analog video thru ADS/Pyro AV Link to my hard drive. Upon playback of these files they look great sound great....no problem yet....

2 - My video project is edited in Sonic Foundrys Vegas 4 and then rendered (here is where I probably need the help) - RENDERING! I render at MPEG2, If you can tell me at what bit rate and compression values I should render at I will look at the program for these options and make the appropriate changes.

3 - The DVD Final project is then burned in Sonic Foundrys CD Architect

When I play the video files in the computer after the first rendering in Vegas 4 I get Ghosting!!
When I play the DVD in my computer or home DVD player I get Ghosting!!
